1973

Franklin Hodge was established, marking the start of our journey in liquid storage solutions.

1976

We expanded our capabilities by becoming part of the Matthew Hall Group.

1988

We experienced further growth as Franklin Hodge joined the global AMEC Group.

1992

We completed our first delivery for a major contract for The Gambia as part of the Village Water Supplies Scheme.

1995

The person in the centre is the Lord Lieutnant of Herefordshire, one of the Queen's representatives. To the left of him is Bill Quelch, Managing Director and on the right is Harry Franklin (Technical Director). We were awarded the Queen's Award for Export Achievement for the 2nd time in 10 years.

1997

Factory inspection tour by engineers from a water supply authority in Malaysia. On the left of the photo is Russell Davies, then Contracts Manager, now Operations Director. On the far right is Brian Wilson, then Factory Manager, now retired.

1998

Franklin Hodge moved to Denco Ltd’s Holmer Road site before being acquired by Carter Thermal Industries in 2004. It stayed at Denco until September 2005, then relocated to Faraday Road, Hereford.

2000

We became a division of Denco Ltd, after leaving AMEC Group.

2003

Purchased Visco.

2004

We joined the Carter Thermal Industries Group, enhancing our product and service offerings.

2014

Purchased our first Rov camera and introduced this technology to the fire sprinkler tank market.

2016

Introduced our glass-coated tank offering to our clients.

2017

We acquired the Brice-Baker brand - a well-renowned brand in the silo space.

2019

We moved the factory from Lawley Middleway to our current head office in Lea Ford Road. This gave us more room to operate and increased our manufacturing and operational capability to allow us to become more productive.

2022

Carter Environmental Engineers was absorbed under the umbrella of Franklin Hodge Industries - another opportunity for us to showcase our excellence in engineering.

We celebrated 50 years of innovation and success in the industry!
