Franklin Hodge industries completes major tank project

17 Oct 2012

Franklin Hodge Industries together with our local agent, Dutco Tennant LLC, have recently completed the installation of a number of site assembled water storage tanks from our Firetainer/Liquitainer range and the fitting of membrane liners to concrete tank structures within the World Trade Centre complex, Towers 2 & 3.  This project was formerly known as the Central Market Project.

A unique feature of the Franklin Hodge Firetainer/Liquitainer range, its ability to be designed into complex shapes, was used to full effect, giving the building designers the ability to fit fire and drinking water tanks into extremely small spaces within the two buildings and the adjoining underground structure.  For the more challenging spaces concrete voids were turned into water storage tanks by fitting membrane liners from Franklin Hodge's comprehensive range of lining materials to the walls of the concrete structures, thus creating a water container.

Franklin Hodge's team from our estimators, designers, sales engineering and contracts specialists worked closely with the building's architects, consulting mechanical engineers, and local mechanical contractors, together with our partners in the U.A.E, Dutco Tennant, to bring a complex and challenging project to a successful conclusion.
